Marilyn Monroe Collectibles Sale

August, 2018. This month you have an opportunity to buy a large Marilyn Monroe collection of memorabilia at a bargain price. The only catch is you must arrange to pick up the collection in a western suburb of Chicago. The collection is simply too large to ship. There are 100’s of items with several large framed pieces. There are many more items that are not in the above photo. The asking price for this collection is $1000. The Golden Dreams calendar shown in this image is worth that price alone. Julien’s Auctions has sold the same version of this calendar for over $2000. (Click here for more information on this 1955 calendar.) This collection will be sold to the highest bidder. To make a bid on the collection follow this link. To view more items in the collection please continue to scroll this page.

Marilyn Monroe Pin-up magazine

Marilyn Monroe magazine: Dell Modern Screen Pin-Ups Vol. 1 #1 1955. Check out the condition on this vintage MM magazine. You’re not likely to find this issue in better condition. It looks as if it was just taken off the newsstand. This and other Marilyn magazines are available in this sale. Framed, vintage 1955 Marilyn Monroe Golden Dreams calendar. This item alone is worth more than the asking price of the auction. Thus item is in very good condition. It shows some signs of age which you would expect for something this old. Julien’s Auctions has sold the same version of this calendar for over $2000.

Large Leroy Neiman signed (authentic signature, not a facsimile, comes w/ COA) lithograph of MM singing happy birthday to John F. Kennedy. (The photo to the left was taken from the internet and is an example of the print you will receive. The lithograph available in this auction is in pristine condition, it is in it’s original packing container. It has never been displayed and is like new. It’s worth several hundred dollars, it’s in mint condition.)

Don’t be fooled by cheap posters that look similar. This is authentic. This 24×35 lithograph features artwork by LeRoy Neiman and is entitled “The President’s Birthday.” It features Marilyn Monroe and John F. Kennedy and includes a huge blue Sharpie signature from Neiman in the lower right corner. The litho was printed in 1989 and the signature is authenticated with a COA.

Original 1950’s “theater handout” signed 8 x 10 photo of Marilyn. I always though this was a secretarial signature image that was mailed to fans from the studio. I had this authenticated by MM collectible expert Clark Kidder. He told me he believed it was a promotion piece handed out at a theater for the premier of a Marilyn movie.
